Right Place, Right Time
Salt & Light Volume V, Issue 27 by Laurie Prindle

"And He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation..." (Acts 17:26)

globe Your Perfect Place
Last time I talked a bit about our significance in Christ; how the Lord looks at everything we do (our work) as sacred and significant in God's eyes!

There is something else I think many of us wrestle with, and that is our attitude towards where we live.

A lot of us might think that the place where we live hinders us from the calling God has on our lives. I've been guilty of this. I've joked many times about living in a "time warp".

When Scott and I first moved to the Teton Valley (county population 8,000) 16 years ago to pioneer a church, I felt as if we had moved from a place of purpose and being fully engaged to living in utter obscurity. "How could God use us here?"

You're Where You Should Be
Isn't it comforting to know that wherever you are, God has "determined" and you have been "appointed" to live where you live in the times you are living?

Be encouraged today knowing that:

"Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared before I'd even lived one day. Your thoughts - how rare, how beautiful! God, I'll never comprehend them!" (Psalm 91:15-17)
