Power of Full Engagement
Salt & Light Volume II, Issue 1 by D. Scott Prindle

"I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly" (John 10:10).

Abundant life is being fully engaged in life. Being fully engaged means being:

  • Physically Energized
  • Emotionally Connected
  • Mentally Focused
  • Spiritually Aligned
with a purpose beyond yourself... something bigger than ordinary.

Building a business (or career) has to be more than just about money. We all need income, but we also need purpose. How can your business connect you to a purpose?

Life is Work
One way is by seeing your work as your ministry. "My father is always at his work to this very day, and I too, am working" (John 5:17).

Jesus came that we might follow His example. He demonstrated love to us in His everyday work.

Consider that in the New Testament of Jesus' 132 public appearances, 122 were in the marketplace. Of 52 parables Jesus told, 45 had a workplace context. Of 40 miracles in the book of Acts, 39 were in the marketplace.

Work is Sacred
Your business is your connection to people. You are their connection to Jesus. Never think of your daily work as anything less than a holy calling.

This will keep you fully engaged... experiencing the abundant life He came to give.

Love Never Fails,
