Core Concepts For Success
Salt & Light Volume II, Issue 13 by D. Scott Prindle

"Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ."
(1 Corinthians 11:1)

Lead By Example
Here in the Teton's we are just now seeing all the trees leaf out, birds nesting their young, bees buzzing about collecting pollen, and the ants scurrying to replenish their storehouse.

These are examples to us that there are growing seasons in life. Laurie and I are in a busy season building the Kingdom of God through our church and business ministries.

For the next few weeks we will be sharing some Core Concepts for Success, starting with the concept of Leading By Example.

There is a saying that "the speed of the leader is the speed of the pack".

People Follow Your Lead
Other people will follow your example. You are the leader of your organization... from your family to your business. It is much easier to duplicate an action than a concept, so people will naturally copy what you do rather than do what you say.

"It is much easier to
duplicate an action
than a concept."

As a believer, you follow Christ's example. What better way to be certain that you are setting the right example for others!

Then you can confidently communicate by your actions what the Apostle Paul wrote, "Join with others in following my example, brothers, and take note of those who live according to the pattern we gave you". (Phillipians 3:17)

Next week we'll talk about attitude.
