Core Concepts For Success
Salt & Light Volume II, Issue 16 by D. Scott Prindle

"...forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal..."
(Philippians 3:13-14)

lawn When It Rains It Pours
Here in Teton Valley we have been inundated with rain, four times the normal amount.

Even a thing like keeping up with yard work becomes a challenge. The grass grows fast but it's never dry enough to cut.

But every now and then the clouds break and the sun peaks through... just long enough to get the work done.

This is great picture of life. When you have a business goal there will be many things that come along to challenge you in reaching your objective.

Commitment To Your Success
Success begins when you make a long-term commitment to yourself!

Your level of commitment determines whether or not you will "press on". No matter how many rain storms come along, here's a "formula" for success:

  • Consistency- Take Action Every Day!
  • Persistence- You Can Make Money or Excuses, Not Both!

  • Determination- To Achieve Your Goals!
Over time, these three character traits will add up to your success.

Along the way you'll have some stormy times. Your commitment can determine whether you sink or swim.

Next week we'll begin a series to help you acquire wisdom to make good decisions.
