Major Change?
January 22, 2009
Hi,

Major Change?
Salt & Light Volume II, Issue 2 by D. Scott Prindle

" For I am the LORD, I do not change;" (Malachi 3:6).

With all the talk about change these days we are reminded that there is One who does not change. The LORD is our standard, our plumb line, our example.

Good Change
Recently my computer hard drive failed... wonder why you haven't heard from us?

I did not have all my files backed up. Not good. But it initiated change for the better. It "forced" me to take action I did not take beforehand.

Switching from a PC to a Mac means learning something new. Stretching myself once again to learn and grow. Even some pain involved. But things are far better than before!

When you have a failure in life and crash hard, sometimes you cannot restore everything you would like back to the way it was. But you can take action that will make things better than before.

You can grow. You can change. Not all change is good. Change that produces more of the Kingdom of God is what the Lord is interested in.

What Will it Take?
Some of you are like me. The change you know you need to make will not happen until your "hard drive" crashes.

That business opportunity you need to look at, that job you need to change, that lifestyle you need to leave behind...

The Lord is faithful. He is patient. He is doing a work in You. Embrace the opportunities life gives you to become more like Him. Take action... face fear.

Trust that He always has your best interests at heart. He does! That's one thing about the Lord that never changes... His love for you.

"I am the LORD, I do not change;"

Love Never Fails,
