November 11, 2009
Hi,

Cat and Dogzilla!
Salt & Light Volume II, Issue 34 by D. Scott Prindle

"But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless. Warn a divisive person once, and then warn him a second time. After that, have nothing to do with him."
(Titus 3:9-10)

Dora vs. Lilly
dogs and cats Dora is our mini Boston Terrier (Terror). Dora suffers from little dog syndrome.

She thinks the world revolves around her. Recently her kingdom was invaded by Lilly, a foster cat we're taking care of for some dear friends.

Lilly could care less about a spoiled little dog. After several encounters with sharp claws it became apparent to Dora that defending her "turf" was unprofitable and useless. She wisely decided to make peace with Lilly.

Profit or Loss?
Do insecurities ever cause a relationship with someone in your business life to get off on the wrong foot?

Have you considered that maybe what you're feeling about them is not leading to a profitable outcome? Been scratched a couple of times?

dogs and cats The choice is yours. You can recognize that more pain is on the way unless you decide to make peace.

Make your business a place of righteousness, peace and joy as you choose to walk in the Spirit.

Give the other person an opportunity to change through the power of God's love. You may find yourself with a new friend... someone who becomes a loyal customer or business associate for life.

And you'll find yourself thanking God for using them to help you overcome some of your own weaknesses.

Win/Win
Today, Dora and Lilly keep us entertained dogs and cats with their new friendship. We laugh at their playful encounters.

Sure beats them having nothing to do with each other because of foolish quarrels about who was there first!
