Get Some Spirit
Salt & Light Volume III, Issue 17 by D. Scott Prindle

"Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes."
(Ephesians 4:23)

Attitude is Everything
As we move from Spring toward Summer (Monday is 1st day of Summer) growth is all around us.

Here in Yellowstone country the trees, plants, birds, and animals are all growing according to God's design.

One thing that sets man apart from animals is something called "spirit". Attitude is a good synonym for spirit. Your attitude will determine your impact on others because it determines your impact on you.

Leaders Focus on the Positives
In business there are always challenges to overcome. Your attitude towards these challenges is what makes the difference. Henry Ford is quoted for saying, "Whether you think you can or think you can't, in either case you're right".

"Whether you
think you can or
think you can't
in either case
you're right."

How can you check your attitude? Your level of conviction towards overcoming any given challenge is a good measuring rod.

Do you sometimes find yourself unable to muster up any enthusiasm? This would be a time to let the Holy Spirit be your Helper and Councilor.

The key word is "let"... surrender to His power working in you. Being filled with the Spirit is a continual process. Throw off that old man and put on the new man that was created by God's design.

Next week we'll talk about Common Sense.
