Extreme Tan Line
Salt & Light Volume III, Issue 20 by D. Scott Prindle

"But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves." (James 1:22)

We were driving home last night from a business meeting. As we dropped down into Teton Valley the alarm went off in our car. tan

BMW's warn you when the outside temperature drops to 37 F degrees or below.

Meanwhile the East Coast is hitting triple digits.

Although the temps are chilly, we do have bright sunny skies here in the Tetons.

In fact we're finally seeing some extreme tan lines on sun starved limbs.

The extremes in life! You go through ups and downs, hot and cold, sun and clouds.

How do you deal with changing business climates?

Extreme Faith
It begins when you have the revelation that your work is your ministry. Your goal is to allow your faith to be expressed in every area of your life, especially through what you're devoting most of your time and energy to... your work.

How do you respond to the extremes? How do you handle stress one day and success the next? Is Christ in you being let out? As people witness your faith in action you become an authentic Christian

Nothing about being a Christian guarantees success in business, but we do have the promise of abundant life. This is a life full of meaning and purpose. Even in adversity there will be new opportunities to glorify God.

It's great to know God's word, but it's even better when you do it... everyday. This is the "key" to handling the extremes.
