Finding God's Will
Salt & Light Volume III, Issue 23 by D. Scott Prindle

"Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect His will really is." (Romans 12:2 NLT)

Changing the way you think. Until this happens, you're stuck.

Laurie and I spent some time with a friend talking about our future. Something was said that changed the way I was thinking about our situation that opened the way to know clearly what God wants me to do.

If you are asking, "God, what should I do?", you might want to take time to go through a filtering process. Each step helps you change your thinking so you can know what God wants you to do.

What if the Answer is Silence?
Go with the last clear instructions you received...

...ultimately we must not trust so much in our ability to find His will as we do in God's ability to make His will known.
