Dark Nights
Salt & Light Volume III, Issue 9 by D. Scott Prindle

"Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him." (Luke 22:43)

Leaders are like pioneers. They discover new territory; helping others follow to make it productive and beneficial for mankind.

At times they feel alone.

Jesus felt alone in the Garden of Gethsemane. He was about to open up a new territory to man called the Kingdom of God.

Hours before he was betrayed, beaten and crucified his entire team abandoned him.

Every leader who does something significant in business for God's Kingdom experiences a Gethsemane... times when they feel alone.

Dark Nights
gethsemane Gethsemane is a place where...

  • Spiritual battles take place
  • Loneliness is felt
  • Honesty is expressed
  • Humility is gained
  • Strength is received

It is through these "dark nights of the soul" that your vision is refined, your focus is sharpened and your resolve is intensified.

As a business leader you will have opportunity to open new territory that brings life, joy and hope to others. Your Gethsemane is where you find the strength you'll need to do it.

Happy Easter!
