How To Weather Extremes
Salt & Light Volume X, Issue 23 by D. Scott Prindle

"While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease."
(Genesis 8:22)

Extreme Environment
We were driving home from a business meeting one summer night when the alarm went off in our car as we dropped down into Teton Valley. tan

BMW's warn you when the outside temperature drops to 37 F degrees or below indicating possible icy roads.

Meanwhile other parts of the country are hitting triple digits.

Extremes... like the tan lines on our sun starved limbs. You go through ups and downs, hot and cold, profits and loss.

How can you deal with changing business climates?

Extreme Faith
It begins when you have the revelation that your work is your ministry. Your use your faith to remain even keeled which is a witness to the world of the Rock who lives in you.

How do you respond to the extremes? How do you handle stress one day and success the next? It is through Christ in you.

You have His faith at work. As people witness your faith in action you become an authentic ambassador of Christ.

Nothing about being a Christian guarantees success in business, but we do have the promise of abundant life. This is a life full of meaning and purpose.

The extremes in life provide you with opportunities to glorify God... the reason you exist.
