Happy Independence Day
Salt & Light Volume XI, Issue 12 by D. Scott Prindle

"Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." (Romans 12:21 NLT)

If America continues its downward moral trend, families and businesses will face challenges that come with increasing hardship in the land.

But, you are called to be an overcomer.

How?flag

By overcoming evil with good.

The very foundation of America came from devout men of God who were committed to good works.

The name "America" can be freely translated "master workman". Choose to become a master workman of good works.

Hebrews 5:14 says "Solid food is for those who are mature, who have trained themselves to recognize the difference between right and wrong and then do what is right."

Be a good Christian witness in your business. As you follow the moral compass of the Word of God you will continue to mature in your faith. This brings a smile to your Father's face.

There are no guarantees that your business will succeed just because you choose to do right. But do not fear.

You will flourish in spite of what may happen in business. Every adversity brings opportunity. You can overcome even in the worst of times. The end result will bring glory to God and hope for America.

"Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people." (Proverbs 14:34)

Can America become great again?

Your choice to do good will make the difference for our struggling country. These are times that will test your faith. You will find it is anchored in the good work of the cross of Jesus Christ.

Have a blessed holiday celebrating America's birthday!
