I was raised in a church going home. We would have said we were "Christians" but that was because we followed the rules and regulations of our particular denomination. I was always trying to be good enough to please God. I was very frustrated as I never measured up.

My sister attended a youth group while in high school that told her about the unconditional love of Jesus. That was new to both of us. All we needed to do was confess our sins, and invite Jesus into our hearts and lives. It all sounded too easy. But, I prayed that prayer some 33 years ago.

I now have a relationship with Jesus Christ. No longer am I bound by religious rules. I am free in Jesus. In the bible in I John chapter 1 verses 9-10 It says if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I am now made clean because Jesus died on the cross for me.

I work as an inside sales rep and know the Lord's work is being done through me.
