Christian Careers are vocations you pursue as a permanent calling. You are called to ministry. We all are.

One of the most exciting awakenings in the Church today is the reality that a person's work is their ministry!

For a lot of us work is a means to an end. We fall into some type of job or business just to pay the family bills and give to our local church to support its ministry.

We used to do that. It was unfulfilling. Our jobs were not giving us a sense of purpose. It was hard to see how we were making a difference in the world other than through our church.

Is Your Vocation Your Ministry?

As a result we gravitated towards "real ministry". You know... working at the church. Christian careers like cleaning toilets, landscaping, teaching Sunday School, serving as an elder and eventually becoming a pastor.

This was our concept of ministry. The ultimate Christian Career in our thinking was to transition into "full time ministry"... earning income through a salaried church staff position. For a year we did exactly that.

It all changed when we planted a church in Idaho and started a business to support ourselves. It seemed like there were more opportunities to reach people in the ski & bike shop than through Sunday church services.

The Nine to Five Window

We experienced the power of the Holy Spirit working through us everyday at work... Monday through Saturday... as much as on Sunday mornings.

We began to respond to a new calling... one that married our desires, gifts, vocation and life's purpose into one unified package. Life got very exciting.

We could see that our Christian Careers did not have to be one versus the other. They could dovetail together and enable us to reach more people.

Only problem was our brick and mortar business consumed all our time and energy. There was little income to show for it. We managed to scrape by on two thousand dollars a month. Try raising a family of five on that income in a resort town!

Find the Right Vehicle

That's when we started praying and seeking. Nothing we looked at seemed like a better option. We tried to go back to the "full time ministry" way of thinking but our church could not fully support us.

God had other plans. He wanted us back in business and to remain bi-vocational pastors. Through some friends we met in our ski shop we found a great business to build an income from home.

Of all things it turned out to be a Network Marketing business.

Yikes! Please... anything but that Lord!

How on earth can Network Marketing be right for pastors of a church? In our minds they were worlds apart and diametrically opposed.

It took some renewing of our minds... rethinking what Christian Careers were really meant to be before we could see the potential.

The Kingdom is Advancing Through Business

The renewal came about by meeting other believers who build great incomes with our company. They shared with us the amazing exploits God does through their businesses.

We were quite taken aback when we realized that they were reaching out to many more people that we were.

We saw how they each had their own unique gifts and talents but were able to use and grow in them through their business. Bottom line... they were living fulfilled, abundant lives. They had what we were looking for.

We got started even before we totally understood how it would all work out. We knew we had found the answer to our two years of praying and seeking. We didn't know it would exceed our expectations.

A Great Ministry Vehicle

Our business turned out to be more than we could ever imagine. It is a great ministry vehicle leading us to thousands of people we would have never met in places we would have never been.

We love helping people with answers to two major needs... their health and finances. Who doesn't know someone who needs solutions to one of these issues. They are among our top prayer requests every week.

Through our business we see lives changed, bodies healed, souls saved. Christian Careers build God's Kingdom!

We have built an income and lifestyle that make us more effective in ministry than ever before. People appreciate that we care about them with more than just words.
